Kurt Walker
Position: Networking/Talent Coordinator
Location: Southern Utah... not far from Vegas
Musical Background: I have always been a very outgoing person. I began singing a lot
in high school in several choirs. I also started a barbershop group, which would end up being the first
of many vocal bands I would be in from high school to college. Always walking around making noises,
drumming, and singing, I have found that vocal music suits me perfectly. I ran the a cappella program at
SVU and helped to launch several of the groups while there. Since that time, I have organized numerous
concerts and events and served as the talent coordinator for most of the vocal festivals in the US.
Personal Information: I'm pretty much an adrenaline junkie. I love mountain biking,
scuba diving, whitewater rafting and camping. I'm also fascinated by economics and people. Loves spicy
asian food. Concerts. I probably have your Dad's phone number if you lost it. Some favorite movies of
mine are: The Thomas Crown Affair, Sneakers, and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
My musical influences include: Toto, Sting, Stevie Wonder, Journey, Peter Gabriel, Bruce Hornsby, The
Cars, Van Halen, Outfield, John Legend, Warren Wiebe, Naturally Seven, and Fork.
