Christopher Diaz
Position: Scholastic Coordinator
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Musical Background: I am currently the Music Director of Florida State University's
co-ed a cappella group, All-Night Yahtzee.
Since being with the group, we have made two consecutive appearances at the ICCA Finals and I've
had the honor of being awarded Outstanding Soloist both times. I have sung with the
FSU University Singers for five
years now, serving as president of the ensemble for three of those years. Before Yahtzee, my musical
life was mostly concerned with my degree in Vocal Performance here at FSU, but now I am just finishing
up the last of my credits so I can see what musical opportunities the East Coast has to offer a moody
baritone like me after graduation.
Personal Information: Outside of my obvious love for music, I am getting minors in
Ethics (emphasizing Religious Ethics and Social Problems) and Russian Literature, two of my other
passions. I have a highly awesome cat named Iago (like Othello, not Aladdin), am painfully obsessed
with most forms of reality television, am addicted to Diet Coke and could eat Olive Garden's Zuppa
Toscana anytime of any day.
