What?SoJam is a festival for vocal music held annually in the Raleigh/Durham area of North Carolina.
Why?SoJam was initially created to bring the best of the a cappella world to the Southeastern and Midatlantic United States; a region of the country where the contemporary a cappella movement continues to grow faster than any other. The SoJam vision is to bring scholastic and professional groups together to showcase their talent and learn from one another. Since the first SoJam in 2003, the event has expanded to attract lovers of vocal music from across the USA, and indeed now the entire world.
When?SoJam is generally held annually in late fall to early winter. SoJam 2007 is tentatively scheduled for November 9-11. It will be held at Hope Community Church for the second year, whose top-notch facilities have to be seen to believed. The pictures below will give you a glimpse, however.
